Hi everyone, sorry for no posts lately. Not that I have not tried, but I'm having a problem with my blog page.  It seems to be sliding down further and further.  I don't know whats happening.  I've been afraid to even post.  It seems every time I post something or change my scripture for the day it goes down more.  Does any one have any solutions?  I would greatly appreciate any help...yeah I really am a novice with the computer-workings.  Soon as I can get some help I've got some great projects to post.  Until then - keep the faith...God is good all the time.

Too Fast...

Where on earth did the Holiday weekend go?  And I thought aah--a time to take it easy.  It went so fast I really didn't even realize it came.  I had a wonderful day with my family yesterday, though.  Good food great family time, (and yes, I allowed the t.v. to watch me for a minute), yeah it was good, but I didn't have time to blog:( and I only made one card :-((

A funny thing happened on Sunday morning.  I wanted to post a new scripture reading; 'A Dose of Sonshine for the Day', and was lead to post Jeremiah 29:12-14a, it turned out that was the very place our pastor preached from.  It was one of those times when you realize that it is the Spirit of God that leads and guides you into all truth. The portion of scripture is a 'message' from the Lord, saying Call upon me; Pray unto me; Seek me - with your whole heart. The results:  1. I will be found     2.  I will turn away your captivity     3.  I will gather you      4. I will bring you again 
It's so good to know that we can find the One who has control of everything situation in life, and He is able to turn it around for us, if we are willing to seek Him for the answers.

How Great Is This....

Hi everyone,
to have a long week-end...it's wonderful!! This means R/R--and time to blog --make cards etc. and blog more.  Life is good! Heard a wonderful message from Pastor Marvin Winans last nite.  When you think you've heard it all--guess what?  There is still more revelation in the Word.  He preached of David's time in hiding in a cave; someone who was anointed to be king, running for his life in obscurity.  How does one deal with knowing that the anointing of God is on them and yet having to take the low road?  Your able to endure because you know the God is not through with you yet.  People may not recognize your anointing but don't be dismayed--God's got more for you in store--the cave is not your ending place--the Kingdom is!! Hold on - your coming out of that cave, and your going to be on top!  Whew!  It was a hot message in a hot place - and so on time!  So glad a got to hear it.  (By the way his preaching was so much better than I expo -:)

I guess I'm in the Copic mood, and I really luv this new stamp I picked from Jo's - 'Rubber Stampede -Wild Rose Bckgrd'.  It's great to put Copics to.

Anniversary Celebration...

1st Month ANNIVERSARY-

Hi everyone,
Today I am celebrating the first month anniversary of my blog- casonshinecards!  I'm so excited about it still!  It's amazing how fast time goes by...I know I say that all the time, but really you'd probably have to be in my shoes.  Yesterday was crazy.  Maybe insane would be a better word. Alright maybe just plain hectic.  Yea that's it.  Hectic.  I seemed as though all I got accomplished was chauffeuring everyone to where they needed to go.  I kid you not!  I got up a lil after 6am, left the house a couple minutes after 7, and when I returned home about 5:30pm, it seemed the whole day was spent driving. Now I admit I did spend time waiting for my son, at his appointment, waited while they serviced my car, waited while dropping off my grandsons to school, waited for my DH at his appointment, waited for my daughter to be picked up from school.....Aahhhh to be home!  Whoever came up with the saying "Home Sweet Home" hit the nail on the head.   Yes, there was plenty of work to be done around the house - and I did do a little, but I was so glad to just pull up in my driveway!  The Lord has provided us with a beautiful home, and I love being there.  It's quite--serene--it's home.  Sometimes, usually on Saturday's I'll get up early,(it's habit), and go outside a look out over the landscape.  Even when it's not a clear day it's still beautiful.  The following pics are the view we get to enjoy everyday; when you consider the greatness of our God, how all creation reflects His power it takes you breath away!

 Alright, I got side tracked, when I begin to think of His goodness---Yes, and all He has done for me....!

Anyway, I'm celebrating a whole month being a blogger.  And in recognition I made this card=that I love, for this occasion.
